About this website
I started this site as a self-aggrandising
joke, but then realised I could legitimately
use it to distribute various forms of
information. Following the
advice
of Bill Beaty, I am now treating this
site as the repository for any new thought
grenades and half-baked ideas, instead of
hiding tonnes of 'unready for publication'
STUFF on local hard drives. I'm also trying
to keep the format simple ,using basic
HTML for the most part. This is so Anybody
can access this site, and also so that
I won't end up getting distracted with
aesthetic issues.
YES! Hopefully the rantings will proceed unabated.
Mathematics is likely to be a big part of this
shouting - in the face of an imminent teaching career, I plan to
round up my stray thoughts and eventually hammer them into a form
that might be useful for others. This also is the reason I'm not
simply writing material straight to Mindcloud - as it stands, it's too wild
and hairy and impenetrably MYSTERIOUS to be instructive!
